Starting with an 80486 DX2, I’ve been using computers since the mid 90’s with extensive experience in a wide array of areas. My computer repair experience started in early 2000 with some basics from my dad and further learning through experience and in High School I participated in the Area31 Career Center’s 2-year computer repair and networking program. Parallel to computer repair, I have been doing web development since 2005. I started with PHP and Javascript, and picked up Ruby in 2007. I also spend time learning languages I don’t frequently use, including Python, Rust, C#, Java, C and Lisp.

Combining a strong understanding of how networks and computers actually work with a strong understanding of how Ruby and other languages work allow me to not only build maintainable and reliable software, but to also build high performance web applications as well.
